Bought a few of these kits. The backplane on the P2000 G3 LFF chassis isn't the standard SAS/SATA interface. Its FC (Fiber Channel), each disk on the HP P2000 drive matrix has a FC to SAS/SATA interposer adapter. The caddy also is a bit deeper and not compatible with normal HP LFF trays. It's not a straight replacement unless you already have the caddies on your existing disks you are replacing (in which case please state when ordering the spare part no. or get the same disk by its manufacturers model number and attach the caddy and adapter to them) or just buy the full kit with P2000 in the description which are more expensive and have the caddy and FC to SAS/SATA interposer already on them. That interface allows the OEM to sell these drives for a ridiculous price. By the way, the P2000 G2/G3 SFF chassis have the standard SAS/SATA backplanes and the caddies are identical to the Server Caddies. From a compatibility point of view, the server SFF trays will work.
