The e-commerce lockdown has been lifted

The e-commerce lockdown has been lifted

As of today, Thursday,14th May 2020,  South African online stores may sell any product other than booze and cigarettes under Alert Level 4.

Now as an online shopper, you can buy anything again, with only alcoholic drinks and tobacco products still restricted. This also applies to parts of the country that do not move to Level 3 because of a high rate of SARS-CoV-2 infection, and will continue to apply should South Africa move back up to the present Level 4 again in future.

We have also made provision for as many payment options as possible for consumers, that are based on reducing risks of transmission, and enabling poorer consumers to access delivery services.

As a precautionary health measure for our telephone support specialists in light of this COVID-19,
we will be handling all queries through email.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience during this time.
We are still delivering to support you and your IT infastructure while keeping our customers and team members safe.

For those clients whose orders had not been fulfilled, because of the lockdown and / or  purchases to have been deemed non-essential, we have been given an undertaking by our delivery fulfillment partners, FedEx,  that these will now be given special preference.  Any other outstanding orders, national and local  will be fulfilled in the next week, (18th to 22 May 2020).

You can now shop for your IT infastructure hardware at Tekmart Africa knowing that we will treat every of your orders with the care and service that you have come to know and trust.

We thank everybody for the patience excercised during this period; your support and understanding , and hope that you and your families are keeping safe-at home.
