Tekmart Africa response to the (COVID-19) outbreak
Like all companies, we are closely monitoring the (COVID-19) outbreak.
There is no doubt that the recent extraordinary measures instituted by the South African Government will have a significant impact on all of us.
The past few weeks and days have presented the global business ecosystem with an unprecedented situation – one that is evolving every hour and one that one couldn’t predict or prepare for. We understand how critical it is to continue operations during a crisis.
We want you to know that at this important time you can count on Tekmart Africa to take appropriate steps to be there to support and protect your business.
Our goal is to meet our collective responsibility to do our part to protect the health of everyone in the Tekmart Africa ecosystem and reduce the risk that anyone might contract or inadvertently spread the virus. We have taken – and will continue to take – proactive measures to minimize the spread of COVID-19.
We are following guidance from the South African Government , WHO, international and local health authorities in countries where we operate.
And of course we are implementing measures designed to help ensure business continuity across all of Tekmart Africa’s functional teams; including warehousing, logistics and support.
Our thoughts go out to everyone who has been affected by this unprecedented situation. We would also like to extend a genuine vote of thanks to everyone who is at the coalface of this outbreak and working tirelessly to keep us all safe.
This may mean that it might take slightly a bit longer to have international orders fulfilled. Local shipments will not be affected.
