NOTE:
- All the hard disks can be connected through the PCH or a SAS RAID controller card.
- Only a server with an NVMe PCIe SSD adapter supports a maximum of four NVMe SSDs. For a server with a SAS card or SAS RAID controller card, SAS or SATA disks can also be installed in NVMe SSD slots.
- If SATADOM SoftRAID is used when NVMe PCIe SSDs are configured, only the Legacy mode can be select for the BIOS.
- If NVMe PCIe SSDs are connected through PCH and the BIOS adopts the Legacy mode when an HDD of larger than 2 TB that is used as the system disk, only the first 2 TB space is available and the remaining space is unavailable.
- If NVMe PCIe SSDs are connected through PCH and the BIOS adopts the UEFI mode, SoftRAID cannot be used for HDDs.
